摘要： A method for inspecting an item and an inspection device has a body (10) with an inspection tool (typically camera and/or ultrasound device and/or X-ray device) mounted on the body for inspecting the item, a traction mechanism (12, 42, 43, 46) arranged to move the body along the item being inspected, and a stabilising mechanism (15) adapted to orient the body so that the inspection tool is presented to the item in a consistent orientation during movement of the inspection device in relation to the item even if the item is non-planar. The inspection tool is typically provided on a moveable inspection head (35), and the stabilising mechanism typically comprises at least two magnetic devices (20), typically rotationally mounted on opposite sides of the body so that each magnet rotates on an axis as the inspection device moves relative to the item being inspected in order to maintain a consistent magnetic attractive force between the device and the item being inspected.

摘要： An electrical connector for an anode has a terminal for an electric cable, at least two magnet devices for attracting the connector onto a metal structure, a plate electrically connecting the magnet devices to one another and to the terminal, and a deformable member connecting the magnet devices. When the connector connects an anode to a surface, the magnet forces draw the magnet devices against the surface in order to make up the connection. The deformable member allows relative movement of the magnet devices, permitting them to align themselves in an optimum configuration to maximise the surface area of the magnet devices that are in contact with the metal structure, providing a large electrical conduit between the connector and the cable connected to the terminal, and allowing for more reliable electrical connection between the anode and the structure.
