摘要： 57 An operator's cab (12) such as for a self-propelled crop harvesting machine (10) is disclosed wherein the generally vertical support posts (24, 25ab, 26) extending between the floor member (14) and the roof member (16) are oriented with the line of vision (L) of an operator (30) positioned within the operator's station (20). The width of each support post (24, 25ab, 26) extending perpendicular to the line of sight (L) of the operator (30) is less than the eye spacing of the operator (30) to permit full vision of the harvesting operation at a reasonable distance outside the cab (12). Glazing elements (45, 65) are positioned behind the support posts (24, 25ab, 26) so that they do not detract from the operator's field of vision. A glazing extrusion (65) is also disclosed wherein adjacent glass panels (33, 35; 35, 37) are supported by the corresponding support posts (25ab) and positionally fixed relative thereto without the provision of any portion of the support posts (25ab) extending between the glass panels (33, 35; 35, 37).

摘要： An operator's cab (12) such as for a self-propelled crop harvesting machine (10) is disclosed wherein the access door (35) is pivotally mounted on a forwardly inclined support post (26). The hinge axis (40) for the access door (35) is inclined in both a forward direction and in an inward direction toward an operator's station (20) to permit the bottom frame member (38) of the access door (35) to swing in a substantially horizontal plane. The access door (35) is pivotally movable between a closed position and a fully opened position which is approximately 90° of rotation apart. The hinge axis (40) casts a vertical projection relative to the access door (35) when the access door (35) is rotated midway between the closed and fully opened positions so that the bottom frame member (38) can be horizontally positioned in both the closed. and fully opened positions without dropping below a horizontal plane.

摘要： An air filtration system (25) for the operator's cab (12) on a self-propelled crop harvesting machine (10) is disclosed wherein the service door (27) for access to the filter cartridge (40) is positioned above the access door (20) into the cab enclousure (18). Since the open position of the service door (27) interferes with the opening of the cab access door (20), the filter cartridge (40) cannot be changed unless the cab door (20) is closed. A movable latch engagement member (30) is engageable with lift members (37) affixed to the service door (27) to lift the latch engagement member (30) out of an engageable position with the door latch (28) to prevent the service door (27) from being latched unless a filter cartridge (40) is positioned within the filtration chamber (35). The filter cartridge (40) restricts the movement of the latch engagement member (30) to permit engagement thereof with the door latch (28). The resultant structure provided an air filtration system (25) that requires a filter cartridge (40) within the filtration chamber (40) before the service door (27) can be latched.
