摘要： An improved product swivel (12) is disclosed which includes a connection which connects a product pipeline (16) to an internal elbow line (34) of the internal housing (13) of the swivel (12). A connector female or box half (42) is welded or machined to the swivel elbow (34). The other half of the connector pair, a pin member (46), is welded to the end of the product pipeline (16). An installation tool and clamp (44) about the connector pair pulls the pin (46) and box (42) together, radially expands the box (42), and then shrinks the box (42) onto the pin (46) so that non-helical engaging teeth (43) wedge together to produce axial tensions in the connection (40). The connection (40) is of minimum outside diameter which advantageously reduces the space requirement inside the swivel stack.

摘要： A structural connection (3) between cylindrical housings of a swivel stack (10) is disclosed. A connector female half (6) is welded or machined to one end of a cylindrical housing of a product swivel (1). A pin male half (5) is welded or machined to an end of another product swivel (1) or a base member (2). An installation tool (7) pulls the pin (5) and box (6) together, radial ly expands the box (6), and then shrinks the box (6) onto the pin (5) so that n on- helical engaging threads (20) wedge together to produce axial tension in the connection (3). The connection (3) is structurally strong enough to act as a structural connection (3) between product swivels (1).
