    • A method for automatically timely supplying a lubricant to a machine working section driven by a motor and an apparatus therefor. The quantity of increase of the driving current of a mold clamping servomotor (12) during the process in which a mold clamping mechanism (10) of an injection molding machine shifts from a proper lubrication state to an improper lubrication state is previously decided for each combination of the type of the injection molding machine, injection molding conditions, and the type of grease. While a normal injection molding cycle in the proper lubrication state is being executed, a reference value for the motor driving current is decided on the basis of the normal motor driving current in a specific moved position of a movable platen (14), at which the motor current is measured for the aforesaid decision, and the increase of the motor driving current, the reference value and the specific moved position of the movable platen being loaded into a memory of a numerical control device (50). In response to a grease supply timing command, the control device drives a grease pump (40) if the detected value of the motor current in the specific moved position of the movable platen is not smaller than the reference value. Grease from the grease pump is supplied to a predetermined quantity to each of a plurality of parts of the mold clamping mechanism through a distributor (43).

    • PURPOSE:To prevent accident from occurring by providing holes for allowing an injection cylinder to enter and shutters for opening and closing said holes on two opposed side surfaces of a vertical type clamping device, which is coupled to a separate and lateral type injection device, and hindering injection operation when the coupling of the injection device on one side only and the opening of the shutter on the other side are detected. CONSTITUTION:A vertical type clamping device 1 has a clamping portion at the upper part thereof and a frame at the lower part thereof, and shielding plates 13a to 13d are interposed among four guide posts 12a to 12d provided upright on the upper side of the frame to form a gate 14 and surround a mold 4. The respective shielding plates 13a to 13d have holes 10, which the tip of a cylinder enters, and shutters 11a to 11d. A microswitch 18 is arranged for each hole 10 and detects the presence of each shutter 11a to 11d. A proximity switch 19 and a coupling member are arranged on each side surface of the frame. When the proximity switch 19 on one side only of the frame detects the coupling of an injection device 2 and the proximity switches 19 on the other sides detect the opening of the shutters, a control device issues an alarm, and injection operation is automatically prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the centering of both of a separate type clamping unit and an injection unit and reliably fix them to each other by bringing the flange faces of a plurality of joint blocks provided on one of the frames of the units into contact with the frame of the other unit and fixing the flange faces under pressure thereto with setting/removing bolts for clampers. CONSTITUTION:A clamping mechanism 16 coupling a clamping unit and an injection unit to each other comprises joint blocks 18, each having a base plate 20 and a flange plate 21, which are formed into an H-shape, and clampers 19. The base plate 20 is fixed to a frame 9 of the clamping unit, and the flange plate 21 has a contact face 22 in contact with a frame 12 of the injection unit. The contact face 22 is formed at right angles with the injection axis of the clamping unit. The clampers 19 are arranged so as to be opposed to each other on the circumference of the contact place of the flange plate 21, which is in contact with the frame 12 of the injection unit. Each joint block is brought into pressure contact with and fixed to the flange plate 21, which is in contact with the frame 12, with at least two setting/removing bolts 23.

    • PURPOSE:To arrange a display device improved in user's convenience by supporting the display device above the leading end of an arm in a revolvable manner by a pivot shaft and moving the same on a base at the opposed interval position of an injection unit and a clamping unit. CONSTITUTION:An arm 12 is arranged along the front of a base 4 and one end thereof is supported on the front of the base in a freely horizontally revolvable manner by the pivot shaft 13 on the side of the base part of the arm 12. A display device 14 is mounted above the leading end part of the arm 12 in a freely revolvable manner by a pivot shaft 15 on the side of the leading end of the arm 12. Various data are inputted to the display device 14 from a manual input apparatus 17 while a CRT screen 16 is looked. In die height adjusting work after the replacement of a mold, the display device 14 is revolved by the pivot shaft 15 on the leading end side of the arm 12 to be changed in direction and set to an operating position easy to carry out work. When a cylinder assembly 7 is replaced, the arm is largely revolved on this side by the pivot shaft 13 on the side of the base part of the arm 12 to set the display device to a retracted position.
