摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a composite plating film in which fine diamond particles and fine fluororesin particles are uniformly dispersed and codeposited.SOLUTION: A composite plating solution prepared by adding fine diamond particles on which a hydrophilic polymer or ionic functional groups are introduced, of an average particle diameter of 10-300 nm, fine fluororesin particles of an average particle diameter of 100-300 nm, and a surfactant to a metal plating solution, is brought into contact with the surface of a substrate to form thereon a composite plating film composed of a metal matrix and the fine diamond particles and the fine fluororesin particles uniformly dispersed therein.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal separator for a fuel cell, which is excellent in electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The metal separator for a fuel cell comprises a base made of a metal material and a coating formed on a surface of the base and made of a crystalline nitride. After a conductive amorphous film is formed on the surface of the base, the coating made of the crystalline nitride may be formed thereon. Since the surface of the base made of the metal material is coated with the coating made of the crystalline nitride, stable power generation performance can be achieved by securing airtightness, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity even when the metal separator is used on both the fuel electrode side and the air electrode side of a fuel cell.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, in an electrolytic film of a fuel cell, a leakage (crossover) of a methanol fuel to a counter electrode while enabling a proton to move and prevent a water leakage from an oxidation pole which produces water.
SOLUTION: An inorganic ion exchanger is produced inside and on the surface of the thin wood strip. Namely, the thickness of wood strip is made as thin as possible so that an alcohol and water can be shielded and separated to obtain a shielding effect, and the wood strip is impregnated with a metal acid chloride and phosphate treated. By this processing, the inorganic ion exchanger which was made in an indeterminate form only by a conventional method, can coat the strip in a stable and glass like form. Furthermore, this film realizes an effect of protecting the thin wood strip because it is very stable chemically and is resistant against an oxidizing atmosphere and a high temperature.
