    • A method for digitally signing information in real-time, based on a user request for the information. In one embodiment, the method is useful in a Web server, and can be implemented using a server-side API filter. One embodiment of the method includes receiving a data request from a user and determining whether the data requested should be marked. If the data should be marked, the method includes marking the data with a signature identifying at least one component of the user request; and storing information identifying the user with the request and the at least one component. Multiple types of marking techniques can be used on a single data file.

    • A label applicator applies adhesive labels to opposite surfaces of a piece of stock. The labels are affixed to a backing sheet having turning strips on a leading edge thereof. The backing sheet is advanced along a label tray in a manner that peels a first portion of a label from the backing sheet and feeds the peeled portion to a transfer point. A piece of stock is placed on a stock tray such that the area to which the label is to be applied is under the transfer point. The stock tray is tilted to bring the first surface of the piece of stock into contact with the first portion of the label at the transfer point. Continued tilting of the stock tray causes the label to be squeezed between the stock and a plate and to peel a second portion from the backing sheet. The plate is linked to a wrapping roller by bars and levers. Further tilting of the stock tray against the plate forces the wrapping roller, through pivoting and sliding motions of the bars and levers, to travel along a path that contacts the second portion of the label and wraps it around the piece of stock and applies it to the second surface thereof.

    • Embodiments of preservation solutions are presented herein. In particular, embodiments of such preservation solution may access a collaborative platform to preserve a collaborative content object by determining if any objects of a collaborative content object have been previously preserved. If none of the objects have been previously preserved, an archive for that collaborative content object may be created and stored. If, however, at least one of the objects of the collaborative object have been previously preserved, it can be determined if any objects of the compound content object have changed since the collaborative content object was previously preserved. An archive for only these changed objects (if any exist) may then be created and stored. Using these archives, at some point a review archive may be created and used to review the state of the collaborative content objects.
