    • A low voltage LED (Light Emitting Diode) driving circuit operates under low supply voltage to provide stable and reliable control of LEDs. The LED driving circuit includes a switching transistor to turn on or off an output current in the LED. The LED driving circuit also includes a control transistor for controlling the level of the output current. The two transistors are coupled via a node that is maintained at a low voltage to increase the voltage across the switching transistor. The increased voltage across the switching transistor allows faster switching and more stable control over different levels of output voltage. The LED driver also includes circuit components for matching the turn-on times and turn-off times for different levels of the output current.

    • An improved transmission protocol is used to transmit a signal between two components of an electronic device. The improved transmission protocol is configured to reduce the number of simultaneous channel transitions that occur when multiple signal channels are transmitted in parallel. Reducing the number of simultaneous channel transitions is beneficial because a signal that is subject to skew, distortion, or electromagnetic interference during transmission may have a shorter settling time when fewer channels undergo a transition simultaneously. When the protocol is used to transmit a signal from a controller to an optical pickup unit in an optical data storage system, the reduced settling times allow for a higher data transmission rate.

    • This disclosure provides a circuit and a method for driving an LED display. The driving circuit comprises a selection circuit for selecting a first light emitter from the plurality of light emitters, a pre-charging circuit for charging an equivalent capacitor of the display panel with respect to the selected first light emitter, and a power circuit for supplying power to the first light emitter after the first light emitter is selected, wherein the power circuit is configured to supply a driving current to the first light emitter in one or more stages. The driving circuit and method of this disclosure can be used to significantly increase the refresh rate and resolution of the LED display.
