摘要： Provided are a method and a system for designing an embedded system using a design process for building a general-purpose computer. Specifically, the embedded system design includes adding and removing add-on cards as needed during the development of the embedded system design. The add-on cards are easily obtainable and connect to a circuit board of the embedded system by selecting lines originating from the circuit board. The lines not selected are passed on to other add-on cards connected to previously connected add-on cards. After all the lines from the circuit board are either selected to connect to logic of the add-on cards or remain unselected, information regarding the add-on cards are used to generate a configuration image. The configuration image is transmitted to a programmable processor of the circuit board to enable communication on the selected lines, thus permitting the embedded system to function.

摘要： A liquid dispenser for dispensing a liquid such as a hand sanitizer uses a receptacle that is dimensioned to properly fit within a typical vehicle cup holder. A receptacle cap is attached to the top of the receptacle. A pumping system passes through the receptacle cap so as to have a dip tube disposed within the receptacle and an actuator located above the receptacle cap. Actuation of the actuator draws liquid from the receptacle and dispenses the liquid onto a user's hand through a discharge portion of the actuator. Spilled liquid is captured within a collection pool defined on a upper surface of the receptacle cap. An protective dome cap is attached to an upper portion of the receptacle cap, has an opening therein for access to the discharge port, and can be pressed downwardly to actuate the pumping system.

The server may be selected from the plurality of servers based on a round-robin distribution of the plurality of servers, and additionally, the round-robin distribution may be modified to account for a workload on each of the plurality of servers.

摘要： A breaching apparatus includes an impactor element and a self-contained energy source. The self-contained energy source enables the impactor element to impact a first surface of a structure. The impactor element is configured to transmit a localized shock wave through the structure upon impact. The self-contained energy source is capable of accelerating the impactor element to a velocity sufficient to induce spalling at a second surface of the structure. Multiple breaching apparatuses can be supported by a frame to facilitate simultaneous or successive breaching of the structure. The breaching apparatus can be used in a method to breach a concrete structure.
