摘要： A method of securing communications in an RFID system including a reader and an RF tag having a memory configured to store information comprises sending, from the reader, a message to the tag; the tag, in response to the message, generating a challenge value and sending the challenge value to the reader; in any order: the reader performing a mathematical operation on the challenge value based upon a key value to generate a challenge reply and sending the challenge reply to the tag and the tag independently computing a challenge response based on the key value and mathematical operation; the tag comparing the challenge response computed by the tag with the challenge reply sent by the reader; and the tag authenticating the reader if the challenge response matches the challenge reply. An RFID system including an RFID tag and a reader are configured to perform the above steps.

摘要： A video data display terminal includes a video display, eg., a CRT, and a character buffer for storing character bytes representing characters to be displayed on the screen of the video display device. The terminal further includes microprocessing means for receiving data from a keyboard device connected thereto or alternately from a host processor for entry into the character buffer. The microprocessing means are further adapted to define one or more partitions on the screen of the video display device. Data integrity within these partitions is maintained by assigning margin attribute bytes to the margin of each partition. Refresh hardware including refresh logic control means, a line buffer, a character generator and a serializer is provided to write data within the character buffer to the video display screen.

摘要： An approach is presented for generating a log parser. Regular expressions are received and stored in a crowd-sourced data repository. An instruction is received to create a log parser based on a sample log. The sample log is received. Matches are identified between strings of characters included in the received sample log and regular expressions included in the stored regular expressions. Each match indicates a stored regular expression is capable of parsing a string included in the sample log. Based on the identified matches, the log parser is generated so as to include the regular expressions that match the strings included in the sample log.
