The apparatus includes a support frame which may be positioned over an adjustable bed so that the straps extend downwardly from the frame and secure to a patient support such as a support sheet so that a patient can be partially or totally suspended when the bed is lowered.

摘要： An inventory management system manages information related to items, such as implants, used during a medical surgical procedure. The inventory management system includes an inventory management computer and an item inventory database. The inventory management computer executes an inventory management application to process item usage information. The item usage information includes item identification information and quantity information for each item used during performance of the medical surgical procedure. The inventory management application associates the item usage information with a particular surgical case at a particular customer surgical facility. The inventory management computer receives the item usage information from a customer computer at the customer surgical facility via a wide area network, such as the Internet. The item inventory database, which is in communication with the inventory management computer, stores item inventory information reflecting the inventory of items at the customer surgical facility.

摘要： A patient positioning apparatus including a base, a support column, at least one positioning arm on the support column capable of being positioned over a bed and having a buckle and strap capable of securing to a patient support connected to bed linens or other flexible member so that a patient can be partially or totally suspended when an adjustable bed is lowered or when the patient support is raised. The apparatus may further include a telescoping support column and horizontal support for supporting positioning arms. Patient repositioning may be effectuated by positioning the arms over a patient, extending straps with buckle inserts into receiving buckles on a patient support or support bar secured to bed linens. A patient positioning apparatus may be free-standing or may be mounted to a ceiling or a wall or may include a swiveling support column. A fabric gripper with a support bar and an insert bar may be used to connect the bed linens or other flexible member to the apparatus.
