摘要： An optical electric charge removal device mountable on an image formation apparatus of an electrophotographic system for removing residual charges on a photosensitive member by light irradiation is provided. The optical electric charge removal device includes a point light source provided in the image formation apparatus; and an optical conductor, mountable on a process cartridge which is detachable from the image formation apparatus, for guiding light incident from the point light source to the photosensitive member.

摘要： A liquid ejection head is disclosed. The liquid ejection includes a flow channel plate, the flow channel plate being formed from one thin plate, the flow channel plate being formed with one or more pressure generating chambers, a fluid resistance section which supplies liquid to the pressure generating chamber, and a nozzle hole which opposes the pressure generating chamber. The flow channel plate is made of a metal material, and wherein the flow plate includes the pressure generating chamber which is formed of a groove-shaped indentation; the nozzle hole which is formed at one end in a longitudinal direction of the groove-shaped indentation; and the fluid resistance section which is formed at the other end in the longitudinal direction of the groove-shaped indentation. The pressure generating chamber, the nozzle head, and the fluid resistance section are formed such that they deform the thin plate in a thickness direction.

The liquid repellent layer includes a first sub-layer and a second sub-layer. The first sub-layer contains a higher proportion of low-molecular-weight molecules than the second sub-layer. The second sub-layer contains a higher proportion of high-molecular-weight molecules than the first sub-layer. Both the first sub-layer and the second sub-layer are exposed on a surface of the nozzle formation member.

The metal material of the nozzle member includes crystal particles having an average particle diameter which is less than that of the crystal particles included in the metal material of the flow path member.

A photosensitive layer formed on a conductive support of a photoreceptor contains crystalline oxotitanylphthalocyanine having major peaks in an X-ray diffraction spectrum at Bragg angles (2&thgr;±0.2°) of 7.3°, 9.4°, 9.6°, 11.6°, 13.3°, 17,9°, 24.1° and 27.2°, wherein a peak bundle formed by overlapping the peaks at 9.4° and 9.6° is the largest peak, and the peak at 27.2° is the secondary largest peak as a charge generating substance. Furthermore, it contains a bisamine compound, an N,N′-bisenamine compound, a styryl compound, an amine-hydrazone compound, a benzofuran-bishydrazone compound, a bisenamine compound, a benzofuran-bishydrazone compound or a benzofuran-bis-cyclic hydrazone compound represented by the particular structural formulae as a charge transporting substance.

The pressure generating chamber, the nozzle head, and the fluid resistance section are formed such that they deform the thin plate in a thickness direction.
