摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic element with increased photographic sensitivity of silver halide emulsions. SOLUTION: The photographic element comprises a support and at least two silver halide emulsion layers and contains an electron transfer agent releasing compound of the formula (I): CAR 1 -(L) n -ETA (where CAR 1 is a carrier moiety capable of releasing -(L) n -ETA; L is a divalent linking group; n is 0, 1 or 2; and ETA is a 1-aryl-3-pyrazolidinone electron transfer agent, wherein clogP is ≥2.40 and a sum total of the Hammett's σ(para) values of substituents on the 1-aryl ring is ≤0.51) and a development accelerator releasing compound of the formula (II): CAR 2 -(SAM)-NX 1 -NX 2 X 3 (where CAR 2 is a carrier moiety capable of releasing -(SAM)-NX 1 -NX 2 X 3 ; SAM is a silver absorbing moiety; and -NX 1 -NX 2 X 3 is a hydrazine group). SOLUTION: A hydrophobically capped oligomeric acrylamide or pyrrolidone is used as a dispersant for a hydrophobia material (a photographic additive such as a color coupler or a solid particulate dye) in an aqueous medium containing hydrophilic colloid. The preferred dispersant is a compound of formula (1) or (2). In the formulae (1) and (2), R, R1 and R2 are each selected from aliphatic hydrocarbyl, aryl-(aliphatic hydrocarbyl) and (aliphatic hydrocarbyl)- aryl; L is sulfur or a bonding group containing sulfur bonded to the group T; and T is a hydrophilic oligomer group obtained by oligomerizing one or more vinyl monomers each having an amido functionality.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion picture print film having improved laser subtitling performance when marked by means of a laser beam. SOLUTION: The motion picture film element comprises a support having a subbing layer unit and one or more image forming units including at least one light-sensitive halide emulsion layer coated over the subbing layer, and both are disposed on a front side of the support. The layers coated on the front side of the support include 5-30 mg/m2 of dispersed carbon particles in total. The majority of the particles is included in the emulsion layer or layers of the one or more image forming units or an intercoat layer which may be present between two emulsion layers.
