When satisfied with display contents thereof, it is shifted to the next operation screen by only touch-operating a 'confirmation' button 48 as it it. When changing the display contents, the change can be performed by touch-operating one of 'change' buttons 47a-47e. Thus, a getting-on station and the getting-off station are confirmed, and the change or confirmation of the next information can simultaneously become possible.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display character strings so that a string is easily and surely selected by enabling a user to touch one of the plural character strings with his finger. SOLUTION: An example is indicated to explain a display condition of character strings while providing information for product inquiry. When a user wishes to enlarge one of the character strings being displayed, the user moves a display 401, which surrounds an enlarging range of a display screen, to the location of an arbitrary character string. Then, the character string at that location is enlarged on the screen and the sizes of the character strings located in adjacent rows are reduced and displayed. Note that the enlargement of the character string is conducted as follows, i.e., the size of the longitudinal direction of the string being specified is enlarged while no enlargement takes place in a lateral direction. Moreover, the reduction of the strings are conducted as follows, i.e., the sizes in the longitudinal direction of the strings, which are specified to be reduced, are reduced and no reduction is conducted in the lateral direction. Then, the details of the contents of the character string is displayed if the user touches the enlarged character string with his finger or the like.
