    • The present invention also discloses a homogeneous blend composition comprising; a) from 1% to 99% by weight of the blend of a first polymer component comprising a copolymer of 5% to 35% by weight of the first polymer component consisting predominantly of alpha olefin derived units and 65% to 95% by weight of the first polymer component of propylene derived units having a crystallinity of 0.1% to about 25% from isotactic polypropylene sequences, a melting point of from 45° C to 105° C, and wherein the Melt Flow Rate (MFR @ 23O0C) of the first polymer component is between 300 g/10 min to 5000 g/10 min. b) from 1% to 99% by weight of the blend of a second polymer component comprising isotactic polypropylene and random copolymers of isotactic propylene, wherein the percentage of the copolymerized alpha-olefin in the copolymer is between 0.0% and 9% by weight of the second polymer component and wherein the second polymer component has a melting point greater than about 110° C, wherein the first polymer component has less than 1000 ppm of reaction products arising from the chemical reaction of a molecular degradation agent.

    • This invention relates to a foamable blend comprising an in-reactor polymer blend comprising: (a) a first propylene polymer component comprising 90 to 100 wt% propylene and from 0 to less than 10 wt% comonomer, said first propylene component having a Tm of 120°C or more; and (b) a second propylene polymer component comprising from 30 to 90 wt% propylene and 70 to 10 wt% comonomer, said second propylene polymer having an Mw of 30,000 g/mol or more, and said second propylene-containing polymer having a crystallinity different by at least 5% from the first polymer, wherein the polymer blend, prior to combination with a foaming agent, has: (i) a Tm of at least 120°C; (ii) a MFR of 10 dg/min or more; (iii) a tensile strength of at least 8 MPa; (iv) an elongation at break of at least 200%; and (v) a ratio of elongational viscosity at break to linear viscosity of 5 or more when the elongational viscosity is measured at a strain rate of 1 sec -1 and temperature of 180°C; and where when the blend is foamed with a foaming agent, the foamed article has a density of 800 kg/m 3 or less.

    • This invention relates to a continuous process to produce a branched olefin polymer comprising: 1) selecting a first catalyst component capable of producing a polymer having an Mw of 100,000 or less and a crystallinity of 20% or less under selected polymerization conditions; 2) selecting a second catalyst component capable of producing polymer having an Mw of 100,000 or less and a crystallinity of 20% (preferably 40% or more) or more at the selected polymerization conditions; 3) contacting a catalyst component, one or more activators and one or more C2 to C40 olefins in a first reaction zone, at a temperature of greater than 70°C, and at a residence time of 120 minutes or less; and 4) transferring the contents of the first reaction zone to a second reaction zone and further contacting the contents with a catalyst component, an activator and or one or more C2 to C40 olefins, at a temperature of greater than 70°C, and at a residence time of 120 minutes or less; and 5) optionally, transferring the contents of the second reaction zone to a third reaction zone and further contacting the contents with a catalyst compound, an activator and or one or more C2 to C40 olefins, at a temperature of greater than 70°C, and at a residence time of 120 minutes or less; and 6) recovering a branched olefin polymer comprising at least 50 o mole % of one or more C3 to C40 olefins, where the first catalyst component is present in at least one reaction zone and the second catalyst component is present in a second reaction zone and where in at least one reaction zone the C2 to C40 olefin is a C3 to C40 alpha-olefin.
