    • A lighting device is mounted onto a support structure, e.g., helmet. The lighting device includes a light body having forward facing light sources including a visible white light source, visible colored light source, an infrared light source and a side facing IFF light source. The light body includes switches for activating the visible light sources and a three-position switch for activating the IR and light sources. The light body mounts onto a mount assembly and includes a connector arrangement for slidably connecting to a platform of the mount assembly. A base member of the mount assembly includes a clamp that connects to a support structure. The light body and platform member may be swivelly moved relative to the base member by forcing the light body and platform member away from the base member and rotating the same. Also disclosed is boost circuitry, battery chemistry detection and control modes.

    • A product dispenser (10) comprising a cover (12), a slidable push element (14), a base (16) and a landing (126) is provided. The cover (12) and the base (16) are rotatable with respect to each other about a common axis. The cover (12) comprises a roof opening (123) in which the push element (14) slides in opposing directions, advancing product from the interior of the cover (12) onto the landing (126). In a preferred embodiment, the dispenser (10) houses miniatures zinc air batteries, secured to the base (16) using an adhesive platform (175). When a cell is advanced from the interior of the cover onto (12) the landing (126), the cell is separated from the adhesive platform (175), allowing air to pass into the cell and the cell to be activated. The landing (126) preferably comprises a magnet (327) for releasably securing product. The dispenser (10) is then used as an inserter for orienting and placing the product in position in a device. the product is not directly handled during its removal from the dispenser or during its insertion into a device. In the case of a zinc air cell, the cell is untabbed without any direct handling of tab material by the user, and the material functioning as a tab stays with the dispenser upon separation from the cell.

    • A light device (10) having a battery and lamp housing (12) and a hinged top door (14). Batteries and a lamp holder (18) are located within the housing and are accessible by opening the hinged top door. As the hinged top door is opened, a cam surface (20) that holds the batteries in tight contact with the lamp holder moves away from the batteries, thereby releasing the tension holding the batteries in place within the housing. The batteries can therefore be easily loaded and unloaded. Likewise, as the hinged top door is closed, the tension holding the batteries in place is reapplied to the batteries to create a circuit for powering a lamp (22) engaged with the lamp holder. Furthermore, the lamp engaged with the lamp holder is also accessed through the hinged top door.
