摘要： A lighting device (10) comprising two cylindrical components, the first component (11) defining a first shoulder (47) the second base component (13) being connected and linearly moveable towards each other and defining a second shoulder (46) spaced from the first shoulder, with an intermediate zone (62) between them. At least one of the components has a light source (15) connected to in built power source contacts by an electric circuit. A restraint member (60) encircling the joining of the components in the intermediate zone (62) causes the circuit to be open when in place due to the separating movement of the two components, and causes the circuit to close when removed allowing the two components to move together ie the light is turned on and off by the removal or insertion of the restraint. The light device can be free standing.
