摘要： An extendable/retractable rotor for vertical lift has plural rotor blades, each with a rotor hub assembly, blade top and bottom hinged casings and a pitch disc rotateable about its longitudinal axis to change the rotor blade pitch angle. An interlink assembly has a blade base, a link base subassembly of top and bottom link hubs, two locking arms, a retracting reel assembly having exterior and interior rotor axles, a breaking actuator having plural outer breaking notches, plural recoiling spools forming a reel cage and a locking mechanism preventing blade retraction. A helical ribbon assembly with plural sequentially overlapped ribbons has pin restraints, plural layers each helically wound around the interlink assembly and a flexible and elastic sleeve of plural elastic ribs. An elastic and flexible skin made of composite elastomeric sheet reinforced by fibers is provided as is a zipper slider mechanism of a main slider, a zipper wedge, a wedge track, plural spring loaded wheels, plural hinged plates and plural hinge joints.

摘要： A retractable rotor blade assembly includes a rotor hub assembly having a rotor hub wall, a pitch disc mounted to the rotor hub wall for undergoing rotation about a longitudinal axis, and retractable rotor blades configured to be extended and retracted relative to the rotor hub assembly. Each of the rotor blades has an interlink assembly, a blade base, and a damper for dampening movement of the interlink assembly during extension and retraction of the rotor blade. The interlink assembly includes a plurality of interconnected link base subassemblies each configured to be translated along a span of the rotor blade such that each subsequent link base subassembly becomes stacked one atop the other while remaining connected to a next link base subassembly. The blade base is interconnected between the pitch disc of the rotor hub assembly and one of the interconnected link base subassemblies.

The online platform is an online environment where users (gardeners) go to plan, create, grow and/or share gardens with other users. A set of garden specific feature tools track and organize the garden with a physical correlation to the garden layout. A feature of the platform is an encyclopedia of plant knowledge that provides users with information on when (and how) to maintain plants in one's garden. In one scenario, the information is geographically and environmentally relevant. In a further scenario, a calendar of gardening tasks is automatically generated from the list of plants selected to grow. Based on the selection of plants identified by a member, the platform will provide a set of instructions or guidelines as best gardening practices to follow. The platform will also provide periodic electronic reminders to remind a gardener of the needs for each plant selected to grow.
