摘要： A food waste disposer mounting assembly uses a stainless steel sink-flange with a screw-on collar system as a primary mounting system to a sink. By connecting the stainless steel sink-flange with a bayonet locking reed collar and screw-on nut collar, a vibration and sound transmission path to the sink is both reduced and rendered indirect. Incorporation of reed switches with a stopper and magnets can modify the unit for use as a batch-feed disposer.

摘要： A grinding mechanism for a food waste disposer includes a grinding ring defining a plurality of window openings therethrough. The grinding ring is received in a housing of a grinding mechanism. The grinding mechanism has a plurality of cavities therein corresponding to the window openings that are disposed outboard of the window openings. A plurality of stacked disks form a rotatable shredder plate that is situated to rotate relative to the grinding ring.

摘要： A system and method are provided for a food loading station having a disposer that grinds food waste that is located at a facility that processes food waste. A storage tank receives a slurry of food waste and water from the disposer. A controller is connected to the disposer and receives user identification information for users that operate the system. A remote module in communication with the controller receives the user identification information, receives system malfunction information that associates particular system malfunctions with the users based on malfunction times for the system malfunctions and login times for the users, and determines whether a particular user has more than a predetermined number of associated system malfunctions. A terminal associated with the facility and connected to the remote module receives the identification information for the particular user when the particular user has more than the predetermined number of associated system malfunctions.
