    • The present invention relates to an intracellular screening method for detecting exogenous candidate compounds C capable of modulating the intracellular interaction between two peptidic binding partners A and B, or of creating such an interaction, said intracellular interaction being responsible for a given specific phenotype, wherein in a first step, the candidate compound C is allowed to contact the binding partner A, inside a cell, in the absence of the partner B, in a second step, the partner B is then made availave for binding to partner A, and in a third step, the phenotype of said cell is detected. The invention also relates to an Intracellular screening method for detecting exogenous candidate compounds C capable of modulating the intracellular interaction between two peptidic binding partners A and B and being incapable of modulating the interaction between peptidic binding partners A' and B', said intracellular interactions being responsible for given specific cellular phenotypes, wherein said method is also based on the sequential exposure of the candidate compound to each one of the binding partners.
