摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a geometrically transformed copy of content in at least a partial image of another image. SOLUTION: In this method for detecting the geometrically transformed copy of content in at least a portion of an image comprises the steps of: providing first and second digital images; searching for concerned objects in the respective objects; identifying pairs of corresponding objects in the images; identifying positions of characteristic points on the respective objects; finding the positions of the characteristic points in the first image coincident to those of the corresponding characteristic points in the second image; generating a set of the corresponding points with respect to the respective images; determining a parameter of geometric transformation for mapping the set of the corresponding points of the first image in the set of the corresponding points of the second image; transforming the first image according to the determined parameter of the geometric transformation; detecting regions of similarity between the content of the transformed first and second images; and determining whether or not the second image contains the region being a geometrically transformed copy of the region of the first image. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more completely automated processing for arranging a desired item within a prescribed digital image. SOLUTION: This method has a step for digitally processing an image for recognizing and identifying an optimal position in a digital image in order to arrange an item understandable for persons in the digital image, and a step for changing the layout of the item related with image contents which can be understood by humans, in order to minimize hiding of the picture contents understandable by humans. The layout of the image can be changed, based on estimation of the ratio of image pixels within an item preventing the outer pixels of an optimum position or an optimum area. In addition, in order to make an item in the digital image conspicuous, the attributes of at least one items such as color, size and shape of the item are changed, in relation to the image contents understandable by humans.

摘要： A method for placing a human understandable item, such as a caption, text or a figurative element, in a digital image includes the steps of (a) digitally processing the digital image to recognize and identify an optimal location in the digital image for placing the item and (b) modifying the placement of the item in relation to human understandable image content so as to minimally obscure such human understandable image content in the digital image. The recognition and identification of an optimal location further includes the identification of an optimal open space region and then finding an optimal location for the item within the open space region. The placement of the item may be done so as to minimally obscure human understandable image content either in other locations of the optimal open space region, or in regions of the digital image adjoining the optimal open space region. Placement of the image may further be based on evaluating the proportion of image pixels in the item that occlude pixels outside of either the optimal location or the optimal region. Moreover, one or more attributes of the item, such as the color, size or shape of the item, may be modified in relation to the human understandable image content in the digital image to enhance the prominence of the item in the digital image.
