摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent leakage on transferring fluid between two containers by a method wherein a proboscis member is brought into contact with a piston member when an opening of a first container is urged to move toward an opening of a second container, and the two containers are connected fluid-wise through the proboscis member. CONSTITUTION: On transferring fluid from one container member to another container member, a first opening 16 of the first container member such as a plastic bag containing photographic chemicals is urged to move toward a second opening 18 of the second container member. On this occasion, a proboscis member 50 is brought into contact with a first seal member 32 while a part thereof is retreated toward a shoulder part 48 through a second seal member 46, and is brought into an opening 34 of the seal member 32. The proboscis member 50 is further retreated through the opening of the seal member 46 and mounted on the shoulder part 48. Thereby, a passage leading from an inlet 33 to a fluid intake passage 61 of the second container member through an opening end 52 of the proboscis member 50, a through passage 58, an outlet 56, and an axial opening 57 is opened. Therefore, flow of fluid between coupled type container members is controlled without allowing leakage to happen.
