摘要： A rocket engine has a combustion chamber and an expansion chamber interconnected by a nozzle. Both chambers and the nozzle are made of carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide formed as a monolithic rocket engine body or formed in sections bonded to each other to also form such a monolithic rocket engine body. The rocket engine body is mounted in a support structure, preferably made of a metal. The rocket engine body sections are produced by mechanical machining of respective blanks made of C/SiC materials. Cooling channels and/or heat insulation structures are used for heat control. The insulation structures are preferably also made of C/SiC materials or of carbon fiber felts or of graphite film.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide an easily manufacturable reflector for improving mechanical/thermal characteristics and improving optical characteristics. CONSTITUTION: This reflector is the reflector for reflecting electromagnetic waves and is provided with a substrate element 10, a coating 11 and a reflection layer 12. The substrate element 10 is consituted of porous carbon at least partially made into carbide and embedded silicon when it is appropriate. The coating 11 is strongly connected to the substrate element 10, a surface on the opposite side of the substrate element 10 is smoothed. by grinding and it is composed of silicon, silicon carbide or the mixture of both. The reflection layer 12 is composed of the silicon, the silicon carbide, silicon oxide, silicon nitride, gold, silver, nickle, copper or the alloy of the metal.

摘要： PURPOSE: To easily manufacture a reflector or a mirror whose mechanical characteristics and thermal characteristics are improved. CONSTITUTION: A metallic silicon with sufficient thickness is fused to a CFC or CMC substrate preform structure having the size of a component to be manufactured by a thermal processing, especially, the thermal processing under vacuum or protecting gas in a temperature ranging from 1300 to 1600 deg.C for forming a light reflecting or mirror structure. The reflecting or mirror structure can be directly formed by this method. When the silicon is formed as the form of a wafer connected with the substrate form by one layer of a fused eutectic body using non-ferrous metal, the operation can be attained in a temperature ranging from 300-600 deg.C. The non-ferrous metal is preferably gold.
