    • A missile has a head (1), fixed fins (2) or movable fins (3), gas rudder (4), propelling nozzles and nozzle throat inserts (5), combustion chamber linings (6), rear cone (7), lattice wings (8), fluidic elements (9) and radomes (10) or parts of said components made of carbon fibre-reinforced silicon carbide (C/SiC), carbon fibre-reinforced carbon (C/C), and/or silicon carbide fibre-reinforced silicon carbide (SiC/SiC) integrated in a missile structure. The missile components (1-10) can be made of C/SiC, C/C and/or SiC/SiC with a continuous fibre-reinforcement and/or a short fibre-reinforcement or a combination thereof. The missile components (1-10) may be produced by mechanically machining C/Sic, C/C and/or SiC/SiC blanks from a single piece or by infiltrating carbon, silicon or silicon carbide together and/or by silicating C/SiC, C/C and/or SiC/SiC individual segments together into a monolithic structure. The missile components (1-10) can be cooled by providing cooling channels and/or recesses in the C/SiC, C/C and/or SiC/SiC structure, and/or by using insulating materials such as carbon fibre felts or C/SiC, or C/C, or SiC/SiC or graphite foils or combinations thereof.
