摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to multilayer films. Embodiments of the multilayer films may include a first layer comprising a first polyolefin, a second layer comprising a second polyolefin, a third layer comprising a third polyolefin, fourth layer comprising a fourth polyolefin, and a fifth layer comprising a fifth polyolefin. The second layer may be positioned between the first layer and the third layer; the third layer may be positioned between the second layer and the fourth layer; and the fourth layer may be positioned between the third layer and the fifth layer. Two or more of the first polyolefin, second polyolefin, third polyolefin, and fourth polyolefin may be the same or different. The third polyolefin may be a polyethylene composition having a density of 0.924 g/cm 3 to 0.936 g/cm 3 and a melt index (I 2 ) of 0.25 g/10 minutes to 2.0 g/10 minutes.

The bimodal polyethylene may have a density of from 0.933 grams per centimeter (g/cm3) to 0.960 g/cm3, a melt index (I2) of from 0.3 decigrams per minute (dg/min) to 1.2 dg/min, a melt flow ratio (MFR21) greater than 80.0, a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) greater than 10, a reverse comonomer distribution, and a shear thinning index of from 5.0 to 20.0. Methods for producing the bimodal polyethylene, articles manufactured from the bimodal polyethylene are also provided.

The polyolefin blend composition suitable for extrusion coating or extrusion lamination applications according to the present invention comprises (a) a linear low density polyethylene composition comprising: less than or equal to 100 percent by weight of the units derived from ethylene; less than 35 percent by weight of units derived from one or more ?-olefin comonomers; wherein said polyethylene composition has a density in the range of 0.890 to 0.940 g/cm3, a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) in the range of 2.5 to 4.5, a melt index (I2) in the range of 4 to 30 g/10 minutes, a molecular weight distribution (Mz/Mw) in the range of from 2.0 to 3, vinyl unsaturation of less than 0.1 vinyls per one thousand carbon atoms present in the backbone of said composition, and a zero shear viscosity ratio (ZSVR) in the range from 1 to 1.2; and (b) less than 50 percent by weight of a low density polyethylene composition having a density in the range of 0.915 to 0.930 g/cm3, a melt index (I2) in the range of 0.1 to 10 g/10 minutes, and a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) in the range of 6 to 15.

The polyolefin composition suitable for sealant applications according to the present invention comprises: an ethylene/?-olefin interpolymer composition having a Comonomer Distribution Constant (CDC) in the range of from 40 to 110, vinyl unsaturation of less than 0.1 vinyls per one thousand carbon atoms present in the backbone of the ethylene-based polymer composition; a zero shear viscosity ratio (ZSVR) in the range of from 1.01 to 2.0; a density in the range of from 0.908 to 0.922 g/cm3, a melt index (I2 at 190 C / 2.16 kg) in the range of from 0.5 to 5.0g/10 minutes, a molecular weight distribution (defined as the weight average molecular weight divided by the number average molecular weight,Mw/Mn) in the range of from 2.0 to 4.0, and tan delta at 0.1 radian/second, determined at 190 °C, in the range of from 5 to50.

摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to post-consumer recycled (PCR) resin formulations comprising: PCR resin comprising a blend of polyethylene recovered from post-consumer material, pre-consumer material, or combinations thereof; and virgin polyethylene resin formulation, wherein the virgin polyethylene resin formulation comprises: a density from 0.910 to 0.950 g/cc, an improved comonomer content distribution (iCCD) wt. fraction greater than 30 wt.% at a temperature range of 35 to 90 °C, and an iCCD wt. fraction greater than 8 wt.% at a temperature range of 99 to 115 °C. The PCR resin formulation comprises an overall density of from 0.910 to 0.930 g/cc; an iCCD second elution peak occurring at a temperature greater than 99 °C; an iCCD wt. fraction greater than 6 wt.% at a temperature range of 99 to 115 °C; and an iCCD wt. fraction greater than 60 wt.% at a temperature range of 35 to 90 °C.
