    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for simply and surely performing detection of position of a termite controlling device embedded underground and appearance of termites.
      SOLUTION: The pest controlling system 20 includes pest controlling devices 110 set around a region or building 22. The devices 110 have bait elements and communication lines. The communication lines have a form of a passive RF tag transmitting information indicating a bait condition and the specific indication of each pest controlling device 110. A portable detector 30 for detecting the positions of the pest controlling devices 110 through the communication lines and connectable with the pest controlling device 110 is provided. A data collection device 40 collecting data collected from the pest controlling devices 110 can be substitutionally or additionally utilized. The bait element may have a magnetic component element so as to give magnetic marks indicating bait-consuming behavior of the objective kind of pests. The devices, if necessary, have one or more environmental sensors indicating and predicting behavior of the pests.
