    • A polyester/polycarbonate blend having superior transparency and heat resistance which is useful for producing transparent polyester articles is disclosed. The blend of polyester and polycarbonate includes (a) polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) prepared with terephthalic acid component and ethylene glycol component, or copolymerized polyethyleneterephthalate prepared with terephthalic acid component and ethylene glycol component, and further copolymerized with 1 to 10 mol % of isophthalic acid, cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM), di-ethylene glycol and/or alkylene glycol of 3 to 6 carbon atoms component with respect to acid or diol components; (b) polycarbonate (PC); and (c) CHDM modified PET prepared with 20 to 80 mol % CHDM with respect to diol components, wherein the amount of the PC is 10 to 60 wt % with respect to the mixture of (a) PET and (b) PC, and the amount of the (c) CHDM modified PET is 0.2 to 2.5 times by weight with respect to the amount of (b) PC.

    • A method and an apparatus for uplink power control in a wireless communication system are provided. More specially, a method is provided in which a first base station in a wireless communication system periodically measures interference for a cell of a second base station neighboring the first base station, determines an average of the periodically measured interference, broadcasts the determined average of the periodically measured interference to mobile terminals located in a cell of the first base station, determines a weight for the determined average of the periodically measured interference, based on one of resource allocation information for the cell of the second base station and whether a specific message for interference regulation is received from the second base station, and transmits the determined weight to the mobile terminals.

    • Various embodiments of a warning indicator for use with wiper blades are provided. In one embodiment, the warning indicator has a housing, a counting unit disposed in the housing, an indicating unit exposed on the housing and an electrical source. The housing is coupled to an oscillating wiper blade of a windshield wiper device. The counting unit is configured to detect oscillating movements of the wiper blade one at a time. The counting unit is configured such that an oscillating number of the wiper blade is accumulatively increased. The indicating unit indicates a warning under control of the counting unit when the oscillating number comes to a predetermined value. The electrical source supplies an electrical power to the counting unit and the indicating unit.
