摘要： A latch board of a microwave oven is provided. The latch board includes a first lever for controlling on/off operation of a monitor switch. The first lever is formed in an approximate triangular shape and has a hinge formed at a first edge, a pressing part formed at a second edge to come in contact with the monitor switch, and a protrusion part formed at a third edge to come in contact with the latch more rapidly. In the latch board, a difference in operation time of the monitor switch and the circuit switch can be increased such that the operation stability of the microwave oven is improved.

In the microwave oven, a screw covering part is protruded toward an inside of a waveguide for an installation of a motor, a convergence preventing part is formed at a portion of a cavity with a shape corresponding to that of the screw covering part and at a location corresponding to that of the screw covering part, and an elevated portion formed by modifying a portion of the cavity in order to uniformly distribute microwave scattered by a stirrer fan. Therefore, the microwave can be distributed more uniformly about the cavity and thereby food can be cooked more evenly and speedily.

摘要： A cooking chamber assembly in a microwave oven for improved which improves air tightness in the cooking chamber, and reduces assembly complexity, time, and cost. A tray which essentially forms a bottom surface of a cooking chamber of the microwave oven is surrounded by a unitary gasket. A groove formed in an inner edge of the unitary gasket is designed to receive an outer edge of the tray, and a lip formed on an outer edge of the unitary gasket is designed to provide an air tight seal with an inner surface of a case of the cooking chamber. An air duct which guides circulating air is attached to an inner portion of the case with a series of hooks, allowing the air duct to be attached without separate fastening members such as screws or bolts, thus further reducing manufacturing time and cost.
