摘要： A secondary stabilizer for emulsion polymers is disclosed. The secondary stabilizer is a polyester containing diol residues, residues of olefinically unsaturated dicarboxylic acids which carry sulfonate groups and residues of dicarboxylic acids which do not contain olefinic unsaturation or sulfonate groups. The residues of the olefinically unsaturated dicarboxylic acids comprise from 70 mole-% to 99 mole-% of dicarboxylic acid residues in the polyester and from 1 mole-% to 30 mole-% of residues of dicarboxylic acids which do not contain olefinic unsaturation or sulfonate groups. The polyester secondary stabilizer is not a surfactant (does not significantly lower the surface tension of water) and in addition is biodegradable.

摘要： Polymers that have limiting viscosities, measured in tetrahydrofuran at 20° C., of at least about 200 mL/g and that can be made by addition polymerization of a mixture of monomers containing: A. from 100—about 30 wt % of esters of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid with monohydric saturated aliphatic alcohols which contain from 1-22 C atoms; and B. up to about 70 wt % of monomers selected from the group consisting of: (1) unsaturated aliphatic carboxylic acids with 3-5 C atoms and their amides, (2) styrene and alkylstyrenes with 1-4 C atoms in their alkyl residues, (3) acrylonitrile, (4) vinyl esters of aliphatic C1-18 carboxylic acids, and (5) amino substituted esters of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid with monohydric alcohols having from 2-6 carbon atoms are highly effective anti-sling additives for textile lubricants.

摘要： The hair care emulsion of the invention contains from 0.5 to 5 percent by weight of a monoglyceride of a saturated or unsaturated C.sub.6 - to C.sub.22 -fatty acid, a polyglycerylmonofattyacid ester of a saturated or unsaturated C.sub.6 - to C.sub.22 -fatty acid having from 2 to 10 glyceryl groups, a polyglycerylpolyfattyacid ester of a saturated or unsaturated C.sub.6 - to C.sub.22 -fatty acid having from 2 to 10 glyceryl groups and/or an ester of monosaccharide or disaccharide with a saturated or unsaturated C.sub.6 - to C.sub.22 -fatty acid; from 0.5 to 5 percent by weight of trimethylglycine and/or panthenol and from 0.5 to 8 percent by weight of one or more saturated or unsaturated C.sub.6 - to C.sub.22 -fatty acid. The composition according to the invention is free of any surfactant compounds in addition to the above-mentioned ester compounds. The composition according to the invention contains only natural substances, mixtures of them and/or their reaction products and provides hair treated with it with an improved wet and dry combability, and with a pleasant touch and cared-for appearance.
