    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically adjust the amount of additional currents to be supplied to a triac dimmer through a triac dimmer controller for an LED lamp on the basis of a triac dimmer operation mode.SOLUTION: A current controller of a triac dimmer continuously detects a triac dimmer current load and determines a triac dimmer operation mode on the basis of a detected current. The triac dimmer controller compares the detected current with a threshold current value called triac hold current and adjusts the amount of voltage divider currents on the basis of a difference between the detected current and the threshold current value. By continuously detecting the triac dimmer current load, an LED controller uses a single sync current path to adjust the amount of voltage divider currents to be supplied to the triac dimmer, thereby satisfying triac dimmer current demands of a plurality of triac dimmer operation modes.
