    • A method for content checking a document, the method including: if the document is a word processing document then: determining if a profile category has been associated with the word processing document; if a profile category has not been associated with the word processing document, applying a default profile rule to perform the content checking; if a profile category has been associated with the word processing document, accessing a user-defined profile rule and applying the user-defined profile rule to perform the content checking; if the document is an email then: determining a profile category for each recipient of the email; determining a profile rule associated with each recipient of the email in response to the profile category; selecting one of the profile rules based on a rank of the profile rules; applying the selected profile rule to perform the content checking of the email.

    • An apparatus and method for verifying the audio output at a client device are provided. With the apparatus and method, when a user requests access to resources, a profile for the user is retrieved and used to determine whether the user is to be presented with audio advertisements. If so, a test audio advertisement is sent to the client device. An agent application on the client device outputs the audio advertisement, via a speaker, to the user and records the audio that is being output by the speaker using a microphone or other recording device. The recording of the audio output is then sent back to the server that sent the original test audio advertisement for comparison. The server then compares the recording of the audio output to the original test audio advertisement. If the recording matches the original test audio advertisement, access to the resources is granted.

    • A method and system whereby a customer automatically receives an assignment on his wireless device without the need to visit a reservation desk. When the customer initially makes a reservation with a vendor, a computer records the wireless device's identification. When the customer arrives at or near the vendor's location, the system creates an out-of-range condition for the wireless device by shielding a portion of a location that the customer will be passing through. In response, the wireless device re-scans the control channels in an attempt to establish better communications with a wireless communication tower. A transceiver positioned in the transition zone transmits a channel that is detected and locked-on by the wireless device. The wireless device transmits it identification to the transceiver, which in turn forwards it to the computer. The computer sends assignment information to the wireless device.
