    • A fuel injection nozzle for internal combustion engines has a holding body with a protruding fixed nozzle needle whose terminal portion, has a valve cone, an annular valve diaphragm cooperates in valve-like fashion. The valve diaphragm is fastened by its outer peripheral portion against the holding body with a union nut, and the edge surrounding the opening is resiliently pressed with initial tension against the valve cone. In order to keep the strains occurring in the stroke, generated by bending, of the valve diaphragm low over its entire region, the valve diaphragm has a bulge oriented counter to the stroke direction.
