    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating device for an internal combustion engine which suppresses the change in system pressure incident to stop and restart of oil supply to a cooling part.
      SOLUTION: A lubricating device (100) for an internal combustion engine is provided with: a variable pump (10) which discharges oil toward a sliding part (200) and cooling part (210) in the internal combustion engine; means (20, 30) for changing an oil supply state to a cooling part, which execute or stop the supply of oil discharged from the variable pump to the cooling part;, and a control means (50) which controls each of the variable pump (10) and means (20, 30) for changing an oil supply state to a cooling part on the basis of an acquired result from a state acquisition means for acquiring information of an operating state of the internal combustion engine. The control means controls the variable pump so as to reduce output of the variable pump prior to the stop of oil supply to the cooling part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal storage device capable of melting the whole amount of thermal storage material housed in a container by solving uneven temperature distribution and an uneven phase status for realizing a supercooling status.
      SOLUTION: An ECU 9 calculates an estimated heat quantity E and determines whether the estimated heat quantity E is larger than a necessary heat quantity E
      0 set beforehand in a step S7 or not. The necessary heat quantity E
      0 is defined as a heat quantity capable of melting the whole amount of the thermal storage material based on the amount of the thermal storage material housed in a thermal storage tank 8. When the ECU determines YES in the step S7, it advances to a step S8 to operate an agitator 17. This solves the uneven temperature distribution and the uneven phase status in the thermal storage tank 8, thus melting the whole amount of the thermal storage material.
