    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate detection sensor having high reliability by suppressing deposition of PM on a portion other than a detection unit.
      SOLUTION: This particulate detection sensor includes: a particulate detection element 10 comprising the detection unit 100 exposed at least to gas to be measured and having a pair of detection electrodes 11, 12 facing at prescribed intervals which are formed on the surface of an electrical insulating heat-resistant substrate 13, and a heating element 140 for heating the detection unit 100 to a prescribed temperature. The particulate detection sensor 1 for detecting a PM concentration in the gas to be measured by measuring an electric resistance changing corresponding to the amount of the conductive particles PM deposited on the detection unit 100, also includes a second heating element 141 and a partition 320 as a heat wall forming means for forming a thermal wall by enhancing a temperature T
