    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of preventing abnormal abrasion or the like of a fitting portion by using a flexible sealing member in a flange-shaped portion even if an outer diameter of a hub and a diameter of a pulley are different from each other.
      SOLUTION: The power transmission device 1 makes the pulley 2 and the hub 5 fitted into and connected to each other. In projections 22 located on the outer circumferential side than an outer hub 53 among projections 51c on the side of the hub 5 and those 22 on the side of the pulley 2, there is provided an annular dust flange 51d protruding in a broadening manner from a front portion adjacent to the projections 51c of an elastic portion 52 radially outside. The outer circumferential end of the dust flange 51d abuts elastically against a sealing portion 23 of the pulley 2 by elastic force of the elastic portion 52 to be attached firmly thereto, and thereby the front face of the projections 22 is completely covered.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device with a locking means for preventing the fall-off of a hub after operating a power cut-off member, capable of being inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: The power transmission device comprises a pulley 1 rotatably mounted on a casing 6 of rotary equipment, the hub 2 joined to the pulley 1 with tongue-and-groove engagement, the power cut-off member 3 for cutting off the transmission of overtorque between a rotating shaft 4 and the hub 2, and the locking means for locking the hub 2 to the pulley 1. The locking means consists of a first stepped portion 237 formed as a radial step on the outer periphery of the hub 2, and a second stepped portion 16 formed as a radial step on the inner peripheral wall of a rim portion 11 of the pulley 1 so that the first stepped portion 237 is locked thereto in the axial direction.
