    • An illustrative modular light fixture apparatus may comprise a plurality of modules, each having a base component and a cover component. The base component has a split vertical male plug positioned within a cylindrical recess, and a cylindrical female receptacle formed at an opposite end thereof. The cylindrical female receptacle and split male plug are so configured such that the female receptacle of one module will snap fittingly or otherwise interconnect with the split male plug of another module. The cover component has respective pairs of rectangular openings on first and second sides thereof configured to snap fittingly engage respective tabs on the sides of the base component as the cover component is pushed downwardly over the base component to thereby attach the cover component to the base component.

    • An LED light fixture comprising a contoured light transmissive lens cover pivotally mounted between upper and lower end brackets so as to be movable between an open position and a closed position wherein in the closed position the upper and lower contoured edges of the lens cover mate flushly with the contoured surface of respective upper and lower end caps. A bank of LED carrying housing components are attached between the upper and lower mounting brackets so as to direct illumination toward the lens cover. Expansion brackets may be employed to facilitate addition of one or more additional banks of LED carrying housing components behind a lens cover of longer length to thereby created a sconce fixture of extended length.

    • A smaller conductor having an uninsulated portion and an insulated portion is positioned adjacent a larger conductor having an insulated portion and a conductive portion located within the insulated portion of the larger conductor. The two conductors are joined by a discontinuous metal band having respective ends extending across a top portion of the insulated portion of the larger conductor to make electrical contact with the uninsulated portion of the smaller conductor, then bending downward on one side of the conductor pair and then upward and through the insulated portion of the larger conductor such that a first of the ends of the metal band is positioned in contact with the conductive portion of the larger conductor; the metal band bending downward on the opposite side of the conductor pair and then upward and through the insulated portion of the larger conductor such that a second of the ends of the metal band is positioned in contact with the conductive portion of the larger conductor.
