摘要： A refrigerator shelving system includes an item retainer for securing items carried on a shelf, a mounting member for releasably securing a shelf to a cabinet of the refrigerator, and a spill tray carried by the shelf. The item retainer is movable between a first position and a second position such that when in the first position, a first side upwardly extends from the shelf and defines a fence and when in the second position the first side is parallel and adjacent to an upper surface of the shelf. The shelf mounting member includes a first portion rotatably interconnected to a lateral side of the shelf and a second portion for selectively engaging a horizontal slot of a cabinet of the refrigerator. The mounting member is rotatable from a first position to a second position to engage the second portion with the horizontal slot. The spill tray includes a main body portion and a plurality of mounting elements. The main body portion is disposed parallel to and substantially adjacent a lower side of the shelf and is positioned completely below the shelf. The plurality of mounting elements releasably engage the shelf.

摘要： A refrigerator for RVs comprising an upright cabinet with an internal cold compartment and a door member mounted on the cabinet for closing said compartment, two pairs of upright hinge pins on the cabinet on opposite sides of the door enables the door to swing from both right and left sides of the cabinet. A single actuator is provided for putting the door from a left swing to a right swing and vice versa. In addition, the actuator can secure the door on the cabinet during RV travel. It can also enable easy removal of the door from the cabinet. Cams and cam followers are associated with the cabinet and the door to cause the door to be lifted when opened and lowered when closed to assure easy opening and closing of the door.

摘要： A low water flush toilet having a bowl with a horizontal ledge extending around the bowl periphery near its open upper end with a flush water nozzle on the ledge for discharging water in a generally horizontal direction onto the ledge. A pulsator is provided for producing pulses of flush water that are discharged onto the ledge with the water of each pulse flowing at varying velocities such that as the water flows around the ledge, some of the water will fall off the ledge around substantially the entire periphery of the bowl resulting in wetting of the entire bowl surface for cleaning the bowl. The pulsator includes a spring biased piston for discharging pulses of water.

摘要： A portable toilet comprises a spout via which accumulated waste contents are dumped at a suitable sanitary disposal station. The disclosed embodiment of portable toilet comprises separably mounted seat and holding tank sections which cooperatively define a storage housing for the spout when it is not in use. For dumping the two sections are separated. The spout is rotatably mounted in an aperture in the top wall of the holding tank and is swung from its stored position and a cap at the end of the spout is unscrewed. A vent valve is also provided in the top wall of the holding tank and it is manually operated by the person dumping the holding tank so as to vent the head space during dumping.

Improved features include apparatus in the adjacent top and bottom walls of the holding tank and upper unit for releasably clamping them together, a discharge spout for the holding tank located between the adjacent walls so that the outlet of the spout is in a cavity in the bottom wall of the upper unit above the liquid level of the holding tank, and a valve-and-nozzle assembly and associated flexible conduit from the flush pump which is constructed and arranged to press fit all of the components together and mount them in proper location with respect to the toilet bowl.

摘要： An improved sealing mechanism for closing the bottom opening of a toilet bowl and adapted to be moved between open and closed positions with a minimum of human effort. The mechanism includes a movable blade and an elastic seal in the form of a curtain that functions to wipe foreign material from the blade when the latter is moved between open and closed positions, the curtain also functioning to provide a seal when the blade is in its closed position. The blade is supported so that when in its closed position it will always align itself with respect to the curtain to maintain an optimum seal. The blade is pivotally supported on an arm of a vertically disposed crank which is spring-actuated to an upper position and which can be depressed and pivoted for moving the blade between its closed and open positions.

摘要： A battery operated flush assembly for a portable toilet. The flush assembly includes a pump and motor mounted to the toilet's seat section. A battery pack is removably mounted to the seat section and includes terminals which, as a result of mounting, become coupled to the motor. The battery pack supplies electrical power to the motor and includes an actuator, protected from inadvertent actuation within a recess, for electrically closing the electrical circuit and causing operation of the pump to discharge flush water into the bowl. A check valve, located in-line with the discharged flush water, opens in response to the pumping of flush water and is maintained open with minimal line pressure to increase the life of the battery pack. An O-ring is also used to ensure that the battery pack can be easily removed and reinstalled with a fluid tight seal therearound.
