A described technique includes identifying a location of a mobile device based on received information from one or more wireless access points communicably coupled to the mobile device; presenting to the mobile device, information descriptive of an availability of one or more facilities proximate to the mobile device, based on the identified location of the mobile device and receiving a first service request from the mobile device; receiving, from the mobile device, a second service request for provisioning a facility of the one or more facilities based on the presented information; indicating the facility to generate a signal for a provisioning confirmation; and provisioning the facility based on receiving the provisioning confirmation.

    • A fully distributed, scalable infrastructure, communication system. The system comprises at least on Space, at least one double agent and at least one non-space specific double agent. Devices and applications that wish to communicate with other members of the Community or outside of the Community insert objects into the Space. The Space then publishes the presence of that object to subscribed members of the community. The double agents are capable of communicating with any desired protocols on one side and the Space protocol on the other. Non-space specific agents handle routing, administrative and other tasks, such as communication between Spaces and Communities.

    • In one embodiment, a network device enforces entitlement rules based on call control traffic received. The call control traffic is received at the network device from an application associated with a first user for a second user. The network device determines identification information for the first user and/or the second user. The network device then determines an action to take based on an entitlement policy associated with the first user or the second user. The action is then performed. The network device enforces the entitlement policy without any modification to the application to cause the call control traffic to be routed through the network device. The network device is in the call control path but does not appear to be a participant in the call to the first application.
