    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture an in-mold coating injection molded article having good appearance by efficiently forming a coating layer excellent in adhesiveness and appearance to an injection-molded article using a thermoplastic resin as a raw material resin in a mold simultaneously with injection molding. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition 16 is used as a raw material to injection-mold a primary molded article 18 [drawing (b)] and a secondary space 19 is subsequently formed between the primary molded article 18 and a movable mold 1 and a coating material 20 is injected in the secondary space 19 from a coating material injector 14 [drawing (c)]. After mold clamping, heated oil is circulated to a heating medium flow channel 3 and a heating circuit 7 by a heated oil circulating device 5 to heat the movable mold 1 to the curing temperature of the coating material 20 to cure the coating material 20 to form the coating layer 24 [drawing (d)]. Thereafter, cooling water is circulated to a cooling medium flow channel 8 and a cooling circuit 12 by a cooling water circulating device 10 to cool the movable mold 1 [drawing (e)] to obtain the in-mold coating injection-molded article 28.
