    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a PTFE solid molded article which can uniformly obtain the density and thickness of a curved surface and a complicated shape such as a rib or the like even if a skilled technique is not used and hardly generate a flow mark and crack of a resin.
      SOLUTION: In the production method for the PTFE solid molded article, the PTFE molded article with low specific gravity constituted of the PTFE polymer is placed in a mold and pressed at a temperature higher than the meeting point of the PTFE solid molded article to obtain the PTFE solid molded article polymer. The PTFE low specific gravity solid molded article has a specific gravity of 0.3 to 1.8. The PTFE polymer is a tetrafuluoroethylene homopolymer and/or a modified tetrafuluoroethylene.

      SOLUTION: In the production method for a PTFE solid molded article, a mold is filled with a PTFE gelled crushed material constituted of a PTFE polymer and the PTFE gelled crushed material is pressed at a temperature higher than the melting point of the PTFE polymer to obtain the solid molded article. The PTFE polymer is a tetrafuluoroethylene homopolymer and/or a modified tetrafuluoroethylene. The mold has an uneven inner wall.
