    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solvent for dissolving an electrolyte salt of a lithium secondary battery enabling formation of the lithium secondary battery which specifically excels in discharge capacity, rate characteristics and cycle characteristics, while having improved incombustibility (safety), and also to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte solution using the solvent and electrolyte salt, and further the lithium secondary battery. SOLUTION: Provided is the solvent for dissolving the electrolyte salt of the lithium secondary battery, which contains at least one sort of fluorine-containing solvent (I) selected from the group consisting of fluorine-containing ethers, fluorine-containing esters and fluorine-containing chain carbonates, 1,2-dialkyl-1,2-difluoroethylene carbonate (II), and another carbonate (III). The nonaqueous electrolyte solution containing the solvent and the electrolyte salt, and the lithium secondary battery using the nonaqueous electrolyte solution are also provided.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolytic solution suitable for a lithium secondary battery in which the coating is hardly separated since a strong coating can be formed on the surface of a negative electrode, reaction of the electrolytic solution and the negative electrode can be suppressed even at high temperature since it hardly melts, and further, which has excellent battery characteristics (charge and discharge cycle characteristics, high discharge capacity), ion conductivity, safety, etc. SOLUTION: The non-aqueous electrolytic solution contains (I) a solvent for electrolyte salt dissolution containing a fluorine-contained ester solvent (A) as shown in a formula (A): R 1 CFXCOOR 2 (wherein, R 1 is hydrogen atom, fluorine atom, or alkyl group of carbon number 1-3 in which hydrogen atom may be substituted by fluorine atom, X is hydrogen atom or fluorine atom, provided that X is hydrogen atom when R 1 is hydrogen atom or perfluoroalkyl group, R 2 is alkyl group of carbon number 1-4) and a fluorine-contained solvent (B) other than the fluorine-contained ester solvent (A), and an electrolyte salt (II).
