    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structural body and its construction method for promoting reduction of its weight and reducing time and labor required for construction to reduce cost sufficiently.
      SOLUTION: A roof material 20 is lifted and supported by an upper cable material 12 and a vertical cable material 14 provided in a downwardly projecting manner and can resist to upward force when blowing-up force when strong wind blows acting on the roof material 20 exceeds self-weight by a lower cable material 13 and the vertical cable material 14 provided in an upwardly projecting manner, and stability of a roof face is ensured even without providing a beam made of steel frame to promote reduction of weight. Since it is possible to dispense with a horizontal reinforcing rigid beam and a tension cable connected with it, time and labor required for the work related to joining of them can be reduced and construction cost can be sufficiently reduced.
