In this condition the mold 6 is positioned to the reinforcement 10, and then, the end face of the reinforcement 10 inside the large-diameter part 62 is pressed by a die 7 so that the diameter-extended part is molded at the end of the reinforcement 10 by pressing the part to be worked of the reinforcement 10 toward the large-diameter part 62 of the cavity 60, an R part 63 formed when the boundary between a step part between the small-diameter part 61 and the large-diameter part 62 and the small-diameter part 61 is formed into a round shape, and the inside wall of the small-diameter part 61, while the boundary between the neck part, which is a step part forming the diameter-extended part, and the reinforcement 10 is molded into a round shape.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device for an end part of a reinforcing bar, which can accurately measure a dimension of an enlarged diameter part of a reinforcing bar with an error as small as possible, and in a short time.SOLUTION: The measuring device for an end part of a reinforcing bar includes: a pedestal 3 on which a reinforcing bar 10 is placed, lying with an axis being positioned; a positioning member with which an end surface of an enlarged diameter part 11 of the reinforcing bar 10 placed on the pedestal 3 is in contact, to position the end surface; a light source 5 for irradiating the enlarged diameter part 11 and a part near the enlarged diameter part 11 with light; imaging means 6 for obtaining a silhouette image formed by light having passed through the enlarged diameter part 11 and the part near the enlarged diameter part 11, and light having been shielded by the reinforcing bar 10 of the enlarged diameter part 11 and the part near the enlarged diameter part 11; and an inspection part for measuring a dimension of the enlarged diameter part 11 on the basis of an imaging signal from the imaging means 6.
