摘要： According to example embodiments of inventive concepts, a layout design system includes a processor, a storage unit configured to store a layout design, and a stitch module. The layout design includes a first pattern group and a second pattern group disposed in accordance with a design. The first pattern group including a first pattern for patterning at a first time. The second pattern group including a second pattern for patterning at a second time that is different than the first time. The stitch module is configured to detect an iso-pattern of the second pattern using the processor. The stitch module is configured to repetitively designate at least one of the first pattern, which is spaced apart from the iso-pattern by a pitch or more, to the second pattern group using the processor.

摘要： In a method of decomposing a layout of a semiconductor device, a polygon, which includes a plurality of intersections at each of which at least two lines are crossed, among polygons included in the layout of the semiconductor device may be determined as a complex polygon. A first stitch may be inserted between the plurality of intersections on the complex polygon. A plurality of decomposed patterns may be generated by performing a pattern dividing operation on the layout.

摘要： An apparatus and method for image interpolation based on low pass filtering are provided. The apparatus includes an edge direction detector detecting an edge direction for a pixel nearest to a to-be-interpolated pixel among pixels and determining the edge direction of the to-be-interpolated pixel as the detected edge direction, a pixel value calculator calculating pixel values of interpolation points located in a lattice filtering window having a predetermined size by using pixel values of pixels located adjacent to the interpolation points, and a filtering unit performing low pass filtering on the to-be-located pixel according to a low pass filter corresponding to the determined edge direction of the to-be-interpolated pixel, the low pass filter being one of low pass filters corresponding to predetermined vertical, horizontal, left diagonal and right diagonal directions respectively. Accordingly, a process of calculating the pixel value of the to-be-interpolated pixel can be simplified and a processing speed can be increased. Furthermore, it is possible to obtain a high-quality image without having image deterioration such as blocking effect caused by an error in a pixel value even for a region with an uneven edge.

In the encoder, an index corresponding to a vector that is most similar to a current vector of an input moving picture among the vectors of the code book is encoded. In the decoder, the index is decoded. Accordingly, it is possible to increase compression ratio and reduce calculation complexity.
