摘要： Provided are an apparatus and method of searching a protein active site. The apparatus includes a database which stores information on a plurality of reference active sites, a comparing unit which calculates 3D structural similarities according to the number of overlapping residues, with respect to an input active site and the stored reference active site, and a search unit which searches the reference active site with respect to the input active site according to the similarities. Accordingly, similar active sites can be searched with a low computational complexity, thereby be used for a correct new drug design.

摘要： The present invention relates to a conjugate comprising oxyntomodulin, an immunoglobulin Fc region, and non-peptidyl polymer wherein the conjugate being obtainable by covalently linking oxyntomodulin to immunoglobulin Fc region via non-peptidyl polymer, and a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of obesity comprising the conjugates. The conjugate comprising oxyntomodulin and the immunoglobulin Fc of the present invention reduces food intake, suppresses gastric emptying, and facilitates lipolysis without side-effects, unlike native oxyntomodulin, and also shows excellent receptor-activating effects and long-term sustainability, compared to native oxyntomodulin. Thus, it can be widely used in the treatment of obesity with safety and efficacy.

摘要： A method for constructing a database having image information representing a plurality of images including the steps of: a) calculating L×5 number of normalized edge histogram bins to generate L number of edge histograms of a target image, wherein each edge histogram has five normalized edge histogram bins and represents a spatial distribution of five reference edges in a sub-image and L is a positive integer, wherein the reference edges include four directional edges and a non-directional edge; b) non-linearly quantizing the L×5 number of normalized edge histogram bins to generate L×5 number of quantization index values for the target image; c) storing the L×5 number of quantization index values to the database; and d) repeating the steps a) to c) until all of the stored images are processed to thereby construct the database having the image information.
