摘要： A hand held appliance such as a hairdryer (10, fig.1) comprises a body (30, fig.1) having an outer wall 360 and a duct 310. The join between the outer wall 360 and the duct 310 comprises a first pair of fingers 362, 364 extending from the outer wall 360 and a second pair of fingers 352, 354 extending from a cone portion 350 of the inner bore and adapted to interleave with the first pair of fingers 362, 364. The outer wall 360 has a thickness t and the first pair of fingers 362, 364 is formed within the thickness of the outer wall 360. The first pair of fingers 362, 364 may extend axially of the outer wall 360 and may extend continuously around the outer wall 360. One of the fingers 352 of the second pair of fingers may be sandwiched between the first pair of fingers 362, 364. The first pair of fingers 362, 364 may comprise an external finger 362 and an internal finger 364 wherein the external finger 362 forms part of the external surface of the appliance. The external finger 362 may be longer than the internal finger 364.

摘要： A hair care appliance comprises a body 30, a heater 80, a PCB 75 and a primary fluid flow path 400 extending from a primary fluid inlet 40 to a primary fluid outlet 440. The PCB 75 and heater 80 are in fluid communication with the primary fluid flow path 400 and the PCB 75 is located upstream of the heater 80. A fan unit 70 may be provided, preferably located upstream of the heater 80 and upstream or downstream of the PCB 75. A thermal barrier 700 may be provided between the PCB 75 and the heater 80. The thermal barrier 700 may be in thermal communication with the PCB 75 and may function as a heat sink for the PCB 75.
