摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce load of a thermal head and to securely fix a hot-melt ink on a transferring medium by a method wherein after the hot-melt ink applied on a thermal transfer ribbon is transferred on the transferring medium, the transferred section is heated again. CONSTITUTION:When a non-ink face of a thermal transfer ribbon supplied for printing is brought into contact with a heating resistor 5 of a thermal head, a hot-melt ink applied on the opposite face of the ribbon is melted and transferred to a printing medium body 7. After transferring, the printing medium body 7 is conveyed to a heat roller means 2 consisting of a pair of rollers and is reheated. At that time, at least one roller contacting with the face with an ink (printed face) is required to be heated. By contacting with such a heated roller, the ink on the printed face is reheated. Thereby, the ink is securely fixed on the printing medium body 7. The reason is that the ink is melted again by the reheating and is fluidized so that the ink further percolates into the printing medium body 7.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet material having a recess and protrusion surface which is full of a natural impression and excellent in its design, and provide a process for producing the sheet by a method wherein powdered/granular materials, particularly those of inorganic substances, are integrally applied to large irregular patterns which a synthetic resin layer forms on the surface of the sheet material, thereby giving an mineral-like feeling thereto. CONSTITUTION:A base material to be used is such that, for example, paper, an unwoven cloth and the like, or a sheet material prepared by applying either foaming or nonfoaming synthetic resin paint in advance to the entire surface thereof. Then, either one or at least two kinds of the powdered/granular materials or scraps of a synthetic resin, the powdered/ granular materials of an inorganic substance, or short fibers (hereinafter called a spray material) are sprayed onto the base material. After spraying, the base material to which the foaming paint has been used is foamed, while the base material to which the nonfoaming paint has been used is melted under heating and, thereafter, the base material is embossed to finish all processing steps. Thus, the sheet material having an irregular surface has thereon the mingled and integrated irregularity formed by different forming means, whereby its irregular surface has a very complicated pattern. Therefore, when it is used as a wall decorative material or the like, the sheet material is effective in creating an atmosphere full of a natural feeling.

摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture a foamed sheet with complicated recessed and projected pattern by using a coating material of oil absorbing properties on a non- permeable base material sheet, providing a printed layer, over which a foaming paper sol containing oil content is applied, and heat foaming. CONSTITUTION:A foamed sheet 4 with recessed and projected surface can be easily manufactured by using an oil absorbing coating material, providing a printed layer 2 on a base sheet 1, over which a foaming paste sol 3 is applied to absorb partially an oil-like content in foamed paste sol to the printed layer 2, and then heat foaming. The oil-like content in the foaming paste sol is hard to penetrate into the base sheet. For example, a synthetic resin sheet or the like such as a vinyl chloride, a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer is used, and as for a coating material of oil absorbing properties, powder such as silica fine powder or petroleum resin blended properly with oil or water-based coating material is used. As for a foaming paste sol, a mixture of blending the given quantities of thermoplastic resin, foaming agent, filler, coloring agent, dilution solvent and plasticizing agent, liquid stabilizer and the like as the oil-like component is used.

The pattern obtained by the above-mentioned method is very clear without disappearing even by abrasion.

As for the resin for resin grains, grains of thermoplastic resin same as the grains to be used for the resin composition or of different kind can be used, and it is required that the melting temperature is in the range of + or -30 deg.C of the melting temperature of resin composition. As the inorganic powder, particularly calcium carbonate is preferred.
