摘要： A vehicular bumper construction has a bumper bar offset to form a trough for receiving the mating portions of a platform member. The parts are joined by welds, the complete assembly is painted and the remaining portions of the trough are filled with a sealer having the same color as the finished paint coat whereby a waterproof sealer is provided between the bar member and the platform member to prevent bleeding of rust onto the show surface of the construction.
