摘要： A wide field angle camera module that incorporates field curvature correction suitable for an electronic device is described herein. By way of example, the wide field angle camera module comprises micro optical lenses adapted to capture field angles of greater than thirty degrees, and is further adapted to provide field curvature correction for a range of object distances, and for a range of zoom configurations include lx, 2x and 3x zoom configurations. Furthermore, the field correction can be implemented alone or in conjunction with signal processing that corrects barrel distortion introduced by the micro optical lenses. In particular aspects, the field correction can be automated based on image quality analysis to provide a high quality image for object distances substantially 30 centimeters or larger.

摘要： An optical system can provides a distorted image of an object within a field of view onto sensing pixels of an image capturing device. The optical system can expand the image in a center of the field of view and compress the image in a periphery or introduce other distortion. The distortion intentionally introduced by the optical system is corrected when the sensing pixels are read to remove some or all of the distortion and thereby produce a "rectified" image. The pixels can be read along a trajectory corresponding to a curvature map of the distorted image to rectify distortions during pixel read out, rather than waiting until all or substantially all of the sensing pixels have been read. Sensor logic and/or algorithms can be used in removing the distortion.

摘要： The present invention provides a skin surface imaging system for capturing at least one image of the skin of a patient's body, comprising: a. a base; b. a plurality of image sensors, connectable to said base, arranged in a predetermined arrangement; each of said image sensors adapted to capture an image of a predetermined area of said body, so that as a set of images is provided; and, c. a processing unit communicatable with said image sensors, comprising a program of machine-readable instructions embodied on a computer readable memory and executable by a digital data processor adapted to: (i) collect said set of images from said image sensors; (ii) analyze said set of images; (iii) construct a record of personal data associated with the skin of said body of said patient; and (iv) output a dermatological data associated with said skin of said body.
