    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure a required refrigerating capacity even in the case wherein thermal load of an evaporator decreases so that the flow rate is lowered. SOLUTION: When the flow rate (thermal load) is not less than a specified value, an ON/OFF valve 710 is opened to suck a refrigerant in an evaporator 300 by an ejector 400, and when the flow rate (thermal load) is less than the specified value, a decompression valve 700 is fully opened and simultaneously the ON/OFF valve 710 is closed to supply the refrigerant the pressure of which is reduced by a nozzle 410 (ejector 400) to the evaporator 300. Thus, an operation same as that of a vapor compression type refrigeration cycle is performed. By this method, even when the flow rate (thermal load) is less than a specified value, the flow rate of the refrigerant flowing in the evaporator 300 becomes a flow rate proportional to the flow rate discharged from the compressor 100 without being influenced by the flow speed of the refrigerant. Thus, a required refrigerating capacity is surely assured even in the case the thermal load of the evaporator 300 becomes small and the flow rate of the refrigerant is decreased.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint device for preventing the occurrence of refrigerant passing sounds.
      SOLUTION: The pipe joint device comprises: pipes 14, 15 having insertion cylinder portions 22, 23 and bulged portions 18, 19, respectively; O-rings 16, 17; and a socket 12 having first inner peripheral portions 122a, 122b into which the bulged portions 18, 19 are fitted, second inner peripheral portions 123a, 123b into which the O-rings 16, 17 are fitted, and third inner peripheral portions 124a, 124b into which the insertion cylinder portions 22, 23 are fitted, and joined at its counter-front-end-direction side to refrigerant flow paths 10, 11. The socket 12 also has fourth inner peripheral portions 127a, 127b formed on the counter-front-end-direction sides of the third inner peripheral portions 124a, 124b, respectively, with their diameters larger than those of the third inner peripheral portions 124a, 124b. The front ends of the insertion cylinder portions 22, 23 are not protruded from the rear end sides of third fitting recessed portions 124a, 124b to the fourth inner peripheral portions 127a, 127b. Thus, the occurrence of refrigerant passing sounds is prevented.

The socket 12 has the connecting part 121 which fixes the inlet pipe 14 and the outlet pipe 15 to the inlet side refrigerant passage 10 and the outlet side refrigerant passage 11 so that the end of the connecting plate 13 is swallowed up and O-rings 16, 17 are arranged between the inlet pipe 14, the outlet pipe 15 and the socket 12.
