摘要： A two-stage infusion set inserter system is disclosed. The inserter system includes an inserter assembly including a housing including a rotatable button assembly comprising ramps and and tab indents and a non-rotatable portion of housing, a sliding component comprising sliding component tabs, a needle carrier connected to an introduction needle, the needle carrier slidably movable from a starting position to an injection position and then to a second ending position, a sliding component spring, and a needle spring, wherein the rotatable button assembly rotates from a locked to an unlocked position, wherein when force is applied onto the rotatable button assembly, the sliding component and needle carrier are forced downward by the sliding component spring, and wherein when the needle carrier reaches the injection position, the needle spring forces the needle carrier upward towards the second ending position.

摘要： The present invention relates to a fluid handling cassette for use in a peritoneal dialysis system, the cassette comprising a generally planar body having at least one pump chamber formed as a depression in a first side of the body and a plurality of flowpaths for fluid that includes a channel, a patient line port arranged for connection to a patient line, the patient line port being in fluid communication with the at least one pump chamber via at least one flowpath, a drain line port arranged for connection to a drain line, the drain line port being in fluid communication with the at least one pump chamber via at least one flowpath, a plurality of solution line spikes being in fluid communication with the at least one pump chamber via at least one flowpath, and a flexible membrane attached to the first side of the body over the at least one pump chamber. A pump chamber portion of the membrane over the at least one pump chamber is arranged to be movable for movement of fluid in the pump chamber, in which fluid handling cassette either the body includes a vacuum vent clearance depression formed adjacent the at least one pump chamber, and the vacuum vent clearance depression prevents contact of the membrane with the body in an area located over the vacuum vent clearance depression and extending at least partially over the pump chamber, or the patient line port arranged for connection to a patient line is for delivering dialysate to the peritoneal cavity of a patient and the drain line port arranged for connection to a drain line is for draining dialysate from the peritoneal cavity of a patient.
