摘要： Process for the in-line thermal treatment of rolled rails which ensures to obtain a fine pearlitic structure which is uniform through a whole predetermined superficial thickness of the rail head. There is also disclosed a new device for the thermal treatment of rails in-line with a rolling system which, as compared to the known devices, is structurally much simpler, has a high sturdiness and requires less maintenance.

摘要： A molten metal containment device between the crystallising rollers (38, 39) of a continuous casting machine comprises -a lateral containment plate (47) able to press against the shoulder surfaces (40, 41) of the crystallising rollers (38, 39); -means of providing pressure (37) able to move said lateral containment plate (47) so as to move it close to and press it against said shoulder surfaces (40, 41). 摘要： A crystalliser for the continuous casting of blooms and billets provided with a porous insert capable of ensuring an optimal distribution of a lubricant on its internal surface, over and under the meniscus, thus improving and making the lubrication more efficient, in particular, in the area contacting the skin being formed of the billet. Advantageously, the porosity features of the insert arranged in a housing made in the thickness of the crystalliser itself, allow to considerably increase the casting speed up to 3- to 4-fold with respect to the current speeds. Thanks to the crystalliser of the invention, the risk of sticking of the skin on the wall of the crystalliser, and subsequent breakage of the skin itself with break-out of the liquid metal, is also dramatically reduced.

摘要： Process and ultra-compact plant for the production of steel strip including a mold that produces a very thin slab, with narrow sides between 25 and 32 mm thick, and with a bulge, characterized by a core in which the steel is still liquid.
